Attended Gloucester College of Art.

Worked on animated films for Halas and Bachelor.

Robert Maxwell’s Pergamon Press in Oxford.

Relocated to Scotland to be nearer the mountains. Here I worked

with several design studios and created my own screen print studio.

Returned to Gloucestershire for contract design work with the

BBC and AA Publications.

I qualified as a teacher and taught print making, visual studies and

graphics in a further education college for 16 years.

A keen walker/mountaineer and musician.

Two expeditions to Tien Chien Mountains, Kyrgyzstan.

Travelled in Europe and the USA.

I always take a sketch book and camera on trips.

Chris Norman Arts was started in 1998 after leaving full time teaching.

I decided to use my skills and artistic ability in a new direction

away from Further Education and in the Leisure & Recreational market.

I am now offering my services as a demonstrator and tutor. I am

available for commissions, have exhibited widely and sell my own work.

I am an Artist/Print maker who will give demonstrations

and workshops to Art Societies and Clubs on the various

mediums and techniques I use to create my pictures.

As a print maker, I am a member of the Gloucestershire

Print making Co-operative where I also run some of

their courses.
